36 Futures Company missed the first stock index trading day

According to CFFEX’s relevant arrangements for stock index futures, investors must trade through futures companies which obtain the membership of CFFEX. However, as of April 13, in the existing 164 futures companies, 36 companies had not been authorized the membership. Insiders pointed out that even if the 36 companies could obtain the CFFEX membership on 14 April, in accordance with the procedure of “declaration to CFFEX -acquisition of stock index futures trading code - official transaction", their first participation in stock index futures would be as soon as on April 19. Consequently, those 36 futures companies missed the first trading day of stock index futures.
