36
Futures Company missed the first
stock index trading day
Monday, 26 April 2010
According to CFFEX’s relevant
arrangements for stock index
futures, investors must trade
through futures companies which
obtain the membership of CFFEX.
However, as of April 13, in the
existing 164 futures companies, 36
companies had not been authorized
the membership. Insiders pointed
out that even if the 36 companies
could obtain the CFFEX membership
on 14 April, in accordance with
the procedure of “declaration to
CFFEX -acquisition of stock index
futures trading code - official
transaction", their first
participation in stock index
futures would be as soon as on
April 19. Consequently, those 36
futures companies missed the first
trading day of stock index
futures.
