April 19, 2010 saw record-breaking
point drops on the CSI 300 Index
since 8 months. While some
investors in long positions on
stock index futures received
margin calls, or even liquidated,
one private investment fund based
in Shenzhen made a profit of RMB
4.04 million by shorting 69
contracts in a 30-billion-yuan
stock index trading account...
Monday’s bush is not due to
shorting of stock index futures?
